Keeping your plugins and themes up to date is one of the most important things you can do for your website. Updates fix security issues, improve performance, and add new features.

IMPORTANT: If Edge Strike Design manages your website maintenance, we handle updates for you automatically. You don't need to do this yourself unless we've asked you to.

Checking for Updates

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard at yourwebsite.com/wp-admin.

  2. In the left menu, look for a number badge next to Updates β€” this tells you how many updates are available.
